Part time at $22 an hour

Contract length: 8-12 weeks

Location:  TORONTO OR VANCOUVER or SOCAL/LA                                                                  On location, at events throughout Toronto/Vancouver                                                  and surrounding areas in the GTA

Job Details

• 10-20 hours a week depending on events. This job requires availability outside 9-5 and includes some hours during weekend days
• Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle

Job Description

As a Summer Promotional Hype Team Member, you will play a pivotal role by representing Chiwis at summer markets, street sampling events and grocery store demo events. You’ll be the face of the brand and ensure the summer events calendar is executed seamlessly and successfully. This role requires a blend of creativity, initiative, and teamwork to facilitate our sampling program and help educate our future customers about Chiwis. 

What you’ll be responsible for

• Booth set up, tear down, and capturing sales at trade show events
• Manning the Chiwis booth for the duration of the event
• Distributing samples and keeping our booth table up to Vancouver Coastal Health Food and Safety Standards
• Working alongside promotional team members  to educate about Chiwis products, and distribute samples throughout the summer 
• Capturing social media content at events Chiwis can share on our social channels
• Reporting on demo/event metrics to determine the events success

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license and a vehicle 
• You’re a talker: you’re an extrovert by nature and are not shy or afraid of approaching people to chat about Chiwis
• Excellent communication skills and ability to capture sales/sampling information during events
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment 
• Ability to self-motivate and problem solve in a fast paced setting
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs
• Previous experience working promotional events is an asset 

• Currently enrolled in a Post Secondary Program with a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) component
